In today’s Canada, standing up for what you believe in can sometimes feel like stepping into a storm. On November 22, 2024, I was “asked” to resign as Vice Chair of the Vancouver Police Board for daring to voice my thoughts on a few critical issues: the challenges of assimilation, the erasure of Canada’s Christian heritage, and the importance of civic nationalism. The result? Instant cancellation.
But let’s talk about what really matters—our shared identity as Canadians. It’s not about race, ethnicity, or background. It’s about the values that unite us: respect, tolerance, equality, and freedom. That’s the Canada we should be fighting for—not one divided by labels and factions.
This is why I created Freedom Over Fear. It’s more than a podcast—it’s a platform for honest, no-holds-barred dialogue. Whether it’s immigration, parental rights, or your freedom to speak without fear of retribution, this is where we tackle the hard truths. No censorship, no political correctness—just real conversations that matter.
The red in the podcast logo? It’s not a political statement. It’s a tribute to the Canadian flag—a reminder of the shared values that bind us, no matter where we come from or what we look like.
So, whether you’re a concerned parent, a passionate patriot, or someone who’s tired of feeling silenced, this podcast is for you. Together, we can reclaim the freedom to speak, stand for what we believe in, and shape the conversations that define our future.
Join me, Comfort Sakoma, as we embrace freedom over fear and work toward a stronger, united Canada.
